Al-Haq Foundation is an independent, non-profit, human rights local institution operating in Iraq. It focuses on defending human rights, particularly in sensitive cases involving grave violations. The institution's main objectives include disseminating the principles of human rights, strengthening the culture of human rights, monitoring human rights violations, and promoting equality and respect among all groups in Iraqi society. Additionally, the institution aims to defend victims of human rights violations, empower a new generation of human rights defenders, advocate for best practices in public policies, and collaborate with civil society to address impunity for perpetrators of human rights crimes.
