STOP Monitoring and Development is a non-profit organization registered with the Directorate of Non-Governmental Organizations in the Kurdistan Region and in Baghdad. Founded in 2013 by volunteer activists, the organization seeks to engage citizens, especially youth, in protecting public and private governance institutions. It works to promote the rule of law, good governance and create opportunities for youth development. The organization also focuses on building healthy communities, enhancing accountability and creating a transparent and safe environment based on the principles of freedom and democratic values.
