Mosul Tells Cultural Festival (Baghdad)
Elbarlament is pleased to invite you to the cultural festival ‘Mosul Tells’ at Al-Qishla, Baghdad.
We invite you to discover the diversity of Ninawa through a puppet show, animation videos and an exhibition of photographs and a graphic novel.
The fascinating puppet show ‘Nest’ takes us to Mosul. Without the need of words, it tells a story of reconnection, environmental awareness and the power of community. Immerse yourself in the world of puppets, masks and music.
‘Nest’ will be performed on Friday, 26 April at 6 pm and Saturday, 27 April at 1 pm.
The animations bring old folk tales and oral stories back to life through the modern art of computer animation.
At the exhibition you can discover Ninawa through photographs by Emily Garthwaite and see artworks of the graphic novel ‘Mosul Tells’ depicting the cultural heritage of Ninawa. Come and grab a unique graphic novel book for your home, too!
